THESE BOOTS
These Boots was my senior seminar design project, completed spring 2012. I chose to do a project about the history of cowboy boots because I think that they have a cool untold story. They were an item that started out for pure function and has now exploded into a fashion and cultural icon. This book walks you through who the cowboy is (past and present day), the origin of the boot and its evolution to present day.
Some special features of the book include: letterpress printing, line art illustrations, personal photography and hand sewn tape binding.
